Creative Artists Agency has named John Storey Chief Financial Officer.

The Century City-based talent representation giant has hired Asurion executive John Storey as its chief financial officer, the agency said on Wednesday. Storey will succeed Carol Sawdye, who had overseen CAA ‘s finances since taking over the role three years ago after the promotion of Jim Burtson to president of the agency.

John Storey has been appointed Chief Financial Officer at CAA. Storey most recently served as President of Finance and Operations at Asurion.

Storey replaces Carol Sawdye, who has served as the agency’s CFO since 2021. Prior to CAA, Sawdye served as vice chairman and CFO and global chief operating officer at PwC, executive vice president and CFO at the NBA and chief operating officer of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.

Storey comes to Creative Artists Agency from IT company Asurion, where he seved as president of finance and operations.
