A 45-year-old man who was the subject of an overnight manhunt in Hugo earlier this week has been charged in his mother's murder.

The Hugo man who sparked a manhunt in Washington County earlier this week has been charged with the 2nd-degree murder of his mother. Trevor Wunderlich, 45, was charged on Thursday for killing his mother Charlene Wunderlich, 68, on Monday. He is currently in custody on a $3 million unconditional bail.

A 45-year-old man was charged Thursday with fatally beating his mother at the family’s Hugo home earlier this week, her death coming after she alleged years of physical and emotional abuse from her son.
