The Indiana Fever concluded the regular season in the nation's capital against the Washington Mystics with a wild 92-91 loss Thursday night. The Fever (20-2-) finished at least .500 for the first time since their last postseason appearance in 2016.

Sika Kone scored 20 points off the bench and Emily Engstler and Ariel Atkins netted 17 points each to lead the Washington Mystics past Caitlin Clark's Indiana Fever before the largest crowd in WNBA history.

Washington held on for a 92-91 win in front of the largest crowd in WNBA history (20,711). Despite the defeat, the Fever secured a spot in the playoffs for the first time since 2016. Sike Kone led all scorers with 20 points. She was ably supported by Emily Engstler and Ariel Atkins, who had 17 points apiece.
