Part of Interstate 94 in Minneapolis shut down for more than 12 hours as authorities investigated a "use-of-force" incident, according to the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.

Eastbound I-94 between Dowling Avenue North and West Broadway Avenue in Minneapolis has been closed since around 12:30 a.m. Sunday due to "a traffic incident."

A portion of I-94 is closed Sunday morning as the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Investigations (BCA) investigates two incidents on Saturday night. The BCA posted on social media that the interstate is closed between Dowling Avenue North and West Broadway in Minneapolis as it processes a scene related to a State Patrol use-of-force incident following a separate incident on the highway.
