Jan 2, 2022 · Home brew rules for a Chaos Spawn. Thought some might enjoy this. I'm not super familiar with the rules, so feel free to suggest changes. This would essentially take up a fire team slot (or at least most of one). D6 wound regen is probably a bit generous; a few 6s in a row would be harsh for your opponent. D3 would probably be more balanced.

The exact nature of them is still unknown. I think there isn't an Imperial equivalent as chaos sp&wn are inherently, well, 'chaotic'. You have a chance to end up as a creature of complete chance - legs, arms heads and tentacles all over the shop. By comparison, while Imperial Faith uses the warp, it isn't chaotic.

If you have a Thunder Hammer zealot in your team, just watch the beast get 2 tapped. Traditional tank and spank. If it's attention is on you, focus on block+dodge while the team kills it. High burst dmg weapons like the thunder hammer and the bolter can clear it fairly successfully. As others noted, block and dodge.
