Mar 23, 2022 · Wildlands & Breakpoint are connected, you play as Nomad, the main character Wildlands takes place before Breakpoint, thus Wildlands is the first one to play for any connecting story between the two- which isn’t much. By release it was between 1 and 2, but it has absolutely no impact or relevance to the rest of the story at all, while everything else has at least some kind of chronological placement/relation.

GR2: First contact is a PS2 and GC only game. Final Assault is the Xbox game. Also, I believe Breakpoint is set before Future Soldier.

Nov 9, 2021 · The order of the story is built right into the chapter numbers. So play episode one, two, three, and then operation Amber sky, and then operation motherland. I believe that’s the chronology of the story events. There are some green story missions on the right hand side of the mission screen, one for mads Schultz and the other for the Ito lady.

It doesn't matter if you play the SC or GR series first because all of the things that connect them are just bonus things for fans like Orginazation names, fictional wars, weapons, locations, and NPC jokes scattered throughout the entire span of both series.

If you got a PS2, check out the entire OGR lineup, from the main campaign to Jungle Storm. If you got PS Vita or PSP, definitely check out Ghost Recon Predator.
